The St. Lawrence Society was established on October 16. 1923. One of the key purposes in establishing the St. Lawrence Society was out of necessity, to build a program for “the mutual benefit and assistance among the members in case of their sickness or other distress."
Today, St. Lawrence Society gives back to the community and brings the community together by hosting social events to fund local charities, including United Way and Boys & Girls Club of America among others.
It is in this vein that we honor our founding fathers for their courageous efforts, landing on American soil with the hopes of a better way of life for themselves and future generations.
